What We Believe

66 Books of the Holy Bible

(Very simply...  We believe the Bible...  Every word of it.)

The Bible (66 books) is the perfect, powerful, living, complete and inerrant word of God. God has spoken. The Bible is His word.

2 Timothy 3:16-17     "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Hebrews 4:12  "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

We All Need a Savior (and There Is Only One - Jesus Christ)

Romans 3:23   "... all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
Romans 6:23   "... the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

There is one God.  He is from everlasting to everlasting and exists in three Persons, yet still one God

God the Father
John 4:24  "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
1 John 1:5  "This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all."
John 3:16  "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
1 John 4:8  "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love."
Jesus, God's only begotten Son
Matthew 1:23  “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
John 14:6  Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
John 10:11  Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep."
The Holy Spirit
Matthew 28:19  Jesus said to His disciples, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit..."
2 Corinthians 13:14  "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen."
Romans 8:11  "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."
John 14:26  Jesus said, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."
Romans 8:26  "Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered."
Salvation by Grace through Faith (You can't work your way to heaven.  You can't earn salvation.)

Ephesians 2:1-10   "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,  in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,  among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.  But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,  even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),  and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,  that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.  For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,  not of works, lest anyone should boast.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
Matthew 28:18-20   "And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.  Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'  Amen."
Acts 2:38-39   "Then Peter said to them, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.'"  (NKJV)
